1. PFA is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoroalkoxy vinyl ether (or perfluoroalkoxy vinyl ether), also known as perfluoroalkoxy fluorocarbon resin or soluble tetrafluoroethylene;
2. Melting point temperature of 305 ℃, can be used for a long time from -60 ℃ to+260 ℃; At a high temperature of 250 ℃, the mechanical strength is higher than that of PTFE;
3. The electrical performance is almost the same as PTFE;
4. It has excellent heat resistance and stability, and can maintain its original mechanical properties after 2500 hours at 285 ℃;
5. Excellent chemical stability, similar to polytetrafluoroethylene, PFA has non stick, non flammable, low friction coefficient, and resistance to environmental stress cracking;
6. PFA is a new type of high-performance fluorocarbon resin, which was developed to solve the difficulties in processing PTFE wires and cables and the inability to continuously extrude them. Due to the continuous extrusion of PFA, the manufacturing length is much longer than that of PTFE wires and cables manufactured by piston pushing method, and it is easy to process; Therefore, PFA can replace PTFE for insulation and sheath of cables with frequencies below 1MHz, and can also be used as a protective layer for RF cables.
