1. The insulation layer material of silicone rubber insulated high-temperature wires is made of dimethyl siloxane and other organic silicon monomers in the presence of catalysts. Among numerous synthetic rubbers, silicone rubber is one of the best;
2. It has high heat resistance and excellent cold resistance, with a long-term use temperature range of -90~+250 ℃, which is the widest among all rubbers;
3. Its disadvantages: Its mechanical properties are significantly worse than ordinary rubber, and its resistance to high temperature water vapor and acid alkali is also poor. Usually, in order to increase the mechanical strength of silicone rubber, the surface of silicone wire is woven with a layer of glass fiber to protect the insulation layer of the wire from damage;
4. Silicone rubber high-temperature wires are widely used in the home appliance industry.
