What are the insulation materials with excellent thermal conductivity?

1, Alumina ceramics

Aluminum oxide ceramics are a commonly used insulation material, which not only has excellent thermal conductivity, but also excellent insulation and corrosion resistance. The thermal conductivity of alumina ceramics is as high as 26-30W/m.K, which is several times higher than other insulation materials. Therefore, alumina ceramics are widely used in high-temperature and high-voltage environments, such as power electronics, lighting equipment, power electronics, high-frequency electronics, etc.

2, Fluoroplastics

Fluoroplastics have excellent chemical corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, and good electrical properties, as well as excellent thermal and electrical conductivity. The thermal conductivity of fluoroplastics is more than 10 times that of general plastics, making them one of the preferred materials for high-temperature insulation.

3, Silicone

Silicone is a flexible material with excellent insulation and conductivity, as well as excellent thermal stability and thermal conductivity. Silicone can withstand temperatures up to 200 ℃ and has lower dielectric constant and loss. Silicone is widely used in LED light cooling, mobile phone battery bonding, IC packaging and other fields.

4, Ceramic fiber

Ceramic fiber is an extremely fine and soft fiber material with excellent thermal conductivity and good thermal insulation performance. The thermal conductivity of ceramic fibers is very high, reaching 0.05W/m.K, and also has excellent properties such as high temperature and corrosion resistance. Ceramic fibers are mainly used in fields such as thermal power plants, aerospace, metallurgy, chemical industry, and petroleum.

The above are some insulation materials with excellent thermal conductivity. In practical applications, selecting suitable insulation materials can not only ensure efficient management of heat and electricity, but also improve the stability and reliability of the entire system.
