ETFE, known as ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer, is a highly resilient fluoroplastic material, which leads the chemical world stage. Not only inherited polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) that impressive heat resistance, excellent chemical resistance and excellent electrical insulation properties, ETFE is more in the radiation resistance and mechanical strength to achieve a qualitative leap, its tensile strength can be proud of the crowd, to reach a staggering 50MPa, nearly twice as strong as PTFE. In this extremely demanding field of material performance requirements, the traditional fluoroplastics such as PTFE, PFA, FEP, although each has its own merits, but in the mechanical strength and resistance to irradiation performance is not satisfactory. ETFE, with its high strength, light weight, irradiation resistance and other characteristics, perfectly makes up for these shortcomings, and has become an important link connecting the dream of the blue sky.
